Creative ideas for Science learning at home:
If you're looking for something to do while you are self-isolating during the current lock down, Explorify is here to help alleviate boredom as well as help to get you thinking like a scientist.
Don't forget to take photographs of your experiments and investigations to share with everyone on our school website!
Why is Primary Science so important?
Science at primary school should nurture curiosity and allow children to ask questions and develop the skills they need to answer those questions.
Primary science helps pupils to: investigate problems methodically; learn all about how science works; and develop a life long love of science and engineering.
While we are currently learning from home, scientific investigation and experimentation can be a great way to break up the day and discover new things together as a family.
